That age-old question! How can I, as a woman, lose this darn belly fat without crazy dieting or hours upon hours in the gym? And can I lose belly fat fast if that is the only area of stubborn body fat??
Contrary to popular belief, we have found that doing non-stop belly busting exercises such as ab crunches and sit ups are ineffective in targeting abdominal fat. This is what is commonly referred to as spot reduction – a myth in the fitness industry. Your belly fat, like the fat on all other parts of your body is connected to your overall fat percentage hence increases and decreases as an overall value depending on how much fat your body has. Here is a quick example, our bodies, like food, are full of chemicals. When these chemicals mix together they make our body react in a certain way. You may be familiar with your morning coffee? The caffeine inside this drink has a massive effect on our heart rate and blood pressure. This comes back to early evolutionary characteristics where our body reacts to the level these vital signs. If our body senses danger these signs go up by themselves so imagine how much a stimulant like caffeine messes with our complex body system!?! Another chemical that has a huge effect on us is insulin. Insulin is produced so we can break down the glucose (food) we consume for energy. The problem is when we have excess production of insulin that is triggered from sweet foods, our blood glucose levels are forced downwards when they should be normal. This makes us very hungry and is the reason we are still able to consume large quantities of chocolate, ice-cream etc straight after feeling very full after a large meal.
Foods that make you lose belly fat fast do not produce excess insulin, and don’t stimulate our body into preservation mode. A few examples include whole grains, nuts and avocados.

It will hydrate you better making you feel less hungry and no milk and sugar will keep your calorie content significantly lower.

It is foolish to try and lose belly fat without any activity. You immediately put yourself at a major disadvantage. Motion burns fat. Simple as that. So if we can limit the amount of fat your body produces by the food you eat, motion burns the remaining fat, the icing on the cake to help you look lean and have that body you always wanted.
Don’t get caught up in the specifics! Any motion that gets you up and moving will not only help you lose weight but will improve your health enormously. Just remember that you only need to do around 3 hours total a week to get these benefits. Just do something you enjoy and can do with a friend. It makes it fun and not work!

Your body burns calories so it can gain muscle, so complete some resistance exercises a few times a week that builds up this lean muscle that makes you look toned and ripped.
